Just curious, I have an SRG with the Export transformer (but no export switch... I'm guessing Mesa just had extra X101's). Is mine just running at 448V, while the X101's on the 100W and Simul-Class run at 460V? Sounds killer either way.

Hah, that was me! Good catch :lol: I'm surprised it seems so many people lost them, but they do feel a little looser on the IIC+ than they do on my V. I have a few random questions on the IIC+ that was hoping people could help out with. Is it normal for there to be such big volume differences...

Have been using a Mark V for the past few years but have always been craving the IIC+ and this thing is pretty incredible so far... and I haven't even been able to turn the volume up past 2 yet! It's an SRG, serial #111XX. According to the seller he had it upgraded to a C+ in the late 80's...

Hey everyone, on my Mark V I get a loud pop every time I switch from 10w mode to 45w mode, with a slightly less loud (but only slightly) pop when I switch from 45w to 10w. No popping when I switch channels at the same wattage, or go from 45w to 90w (or vice-versa). It'll pop when switching...

Hm, so I was just messing around with channel 2 a bit, and noticed that the Mark I mode is noticeably quieter than the Edge or Crunch modes. Could that be a tube issue or is something wrong with the amp? :?

That cab is so sexy, wish I could have afforded that! Looks so good with the Mark V.

Thanks guys. Cab just came. Played around with it for 5 minutes, and I can definitely tell the difference with the Bold switch on channel 1. Still not seeing anything with the switches on channels 2 and 3, but I didn't really turn it up at all since I'm just at my apartment right now. I guess...

Yeah, I'm right outside Philly. I'm hoping someone can chime in with a good tech in the area, otherwise I'll just take my chances somewhere. Oh, and you think I should buy the OT myself ahead of time and then just take it to the tech? Makes sense, just hadn't really though of it.

Wow, thanks for all that! Hell if I read that I'd probably consider upgrading my OT even if it wasn't dangling down like it is. :lol: But knowing that upgrading it will probably help make the sound better does help me justify having to spend all that I'll need to on this. BTW, do you guys...

Yeah, I just read that in another topic is another reason I'm exploring the option of just getting a new OT. Can anyone describe the difference though?
