Same thing with my new TA-30 head...problems with browning out, and a burning smell at first. Only seemed to be a problem with the fifteen amp setting on Ch #1. At 30 or 40W no issues..Took it in, and the culprit was a weak tube...now no problems....this amp turns heads!! Hang in there...

Yep, same problem with my new TA-30 head...hot burning smell, and then the amp would "brown out"..loss of volume, distortion etc. Took it back to the dealer and they replaced a couple of tubes...now it works just fine...haven't had a chance to push it lately, but that will come soon. Overall...
