I had one for a few months about a year back and lately I've been thinkng about coming back to the Mark V. What has me seriously considering the MKV again is the 10/45/90 watt selection on each channel that can be adjusted for appropriate sized clubs/venues. My primary amp for the past few years...

I have noticed that a couple of people have said "don't sell the Soldano, you'll regret it". I'm sure I will probably regret selling the Soldano however I'm not able to really push it to get the best out of it or hit it's sweet spot. Unfortunately, most of the bars or places to play in my area...

Who here is using 16 ohm cabs as opposed to 8 or 4 ohms cab and what's your experience? Since there is not a dedicated 16 ohm output jack on the MKV I would have to run a mismatch but I am wondering if the tone would suffer too much to want to do this.

I am thinking about selling my Soldano SLO and purchasing the Mark V but cannot decide between the combo or head. I like the combo because of the compact portability. On the other side of the coin a head is a bit more flexable because I can mix and match different cabs but the downside of this...
