I like it a lot so far. I never played an OG to compare but this one is nice. I almost immediately got a better tone than this video. My tone here is super bright due to the Full Shred pickups and me turning on the bright switch. It sounds better with no bright switches pulled for my setup

I just got mine out the box and used my mark iv setting immediately and recorded the first notes I played on it. I had an OD I turned off then on randomly in the video.

Not this forum but there are other forums that are hard to gauge this amp. It seems like the OG IIC+ owners are rooting for this amp to fail so that theirs maintain, or increase in value. If possible can you try to get it as heavy as possible? Like gain it out with the typical mark hi gain setting playing more modern metal?

Funny enough I went out and bought a used 2x12 Metal grill Mesa vertical cab for the release of this amp. Got it for 400 with a top speaker missing. I put in a EVM12L from I mesa Mark III that I long since sold the chasis. So I got a 2x12 Mesa with 2 EVM's in i. Im pretty hyped for this release.
