    Nomad Schematic Question

Finally got to the pics, I have circled the areas in question with yellow. Here is the resistor in place of the Graphic EQ LED The long oval in the middle left of the photo is where the mini toggle switch for the Graphic EQ is connected in stead of the two contacts directly above the filter...

    Nomad Schematic Question

I will take some pics tomorrow and post them, it is strange. If you have any pics I would love to see a stock Nomad 100

    Nomad Schematic Question

The Graphic LED can't be installed according to the schematic due to the fact that a resistor has been put in the spot where the LED connects on the PCB (the resistor is installed in a "on end" through the hole contacts) so the voltage has to come from another location. My DMM reading show way...

    Nomad Schematic Question

Just picked up a Nomad 100 head in a trade--it's in very good shape, sounds great--I did discover that it had been modified. It's looks like some sloppy mods, but as I said the head and footswitch function fine except for 2 small things. 1. The Power Jewel light does not come on 2. The EQ...

For Sale: Single Rectifier 50 solo head

Man that's a great price!! Somebody buy it!! I think Series I Singles have more usable tones than a Dual. Are those really your settings  I could probably hear that in Indiana!! I can't run my series I outputs (Master, or Output) past 12 o'clock and that's with a 212 cab.

Single Recto output cuts in and out

I have a Single Rectifier head series I (early, one of the first 35) that has been cutting out for no apparent reason. When it does cut out all I have to do is touch the speaker cable at the speaker output jack on the head and it comes back on, ALSO, it does it with different speaker cables...

    Eminence Speakers and a Roadster...

    Single Rectifier Queries???

I would use the chorus in the loop---Distortion and overdrive in front of the amp. I always do ---Wah, tuner, overdrive/distortion, phaser in front of the amp ---Chorus, reverb, delay, modulation, pitch etc--in the loop But that is just me--best to experiment and you will...

    Roadster through an OS 2x12

I'm not sure on the Roadster, but I play my Single recto through a Port City OS 212 with Eminence Cannabis Rex speakers and I don't miss my 412 Recto cab at all. The Port City sounds as big as a standard size 412 (stiletto, marshall etc) but you can carry it with 1 hand!!

    Got a single recto today

I do kinda wish my single had the Bias switch 6L6/el34 you know how loud an amp gets before 6L6s start to cream out  IMO : I think that anybody who says these amps don't have enough thump (vs. a Dual) definitely hasn't turned the output up enough with a recto 412. Here is the...

My Recto sound 10 TIMES better bypassing loop, even w/loop mo

double check your actions on the fx loop mod--below is the Boogie recommended method-- it is easier to look from the back of the chassis--looking at the fx loop pot remove the right wire and tape it off--then solder the middle and the left wire together on the center lug of the pot. I did this...
