    I don't love my Mark V

Sorry to hear you are not bonding with the Mark V. I also just got a Mark V and had the opposite reaction from you. I have all Marshall and Marshall modded type amps. I.E. Marshall JMP 2203 , Marshall JCM800 2204 , Friedman BE100 and a Splawn Quickrod. I was able to trade an older ENGL SAVAGE...

TRIAXIS / 2:90 Problem... Please help

Interestingly enough my volume drop happens on BOTH channels A & B of the 2:90 when I run them individually. So do you think its the TRIAXIS preamp tubes that is causing the volume drop? My exact problem is I am playing and the volume will drop out a bit and distortion is lessened too and then...

TRIAXIS / 2:90 Problem... Please help

I have been having a problem with my TRIAXIS VER. 2.0 / 2:90 set up. Here is what I am experiencing. After a few minutes of playing the VOLUME drops in and out a little bit and comes back up on its own. Not a huge amount but noticeable. Does anyone one have a idea whats going on? Is it a TRIAXIS...

EL34s or 6L6s in my SERIES 2 SINGLE RECTIFIER 50WATT HEAD

Hi guys it's been a while since I visited the site but I wanted some input. I have a SINGLE RECTIFIER 50 watt head and wanted to know if EL34s will crunch out and give me a better tighter distortion than 6L6s will. I am running it thru my MESA 4X12 oversize cabinet that I believe has the vintage...

Sick of crappy sound might sell my dual recto

I will put it this way. It made an amp that I felt was good sounding into an amp that is now incredible sounding. I look forward to playing it now. It even sounds great thru my 4x12 standard recto cab with vintage 30s. Before the MOD the amp just lacked the low end TIGHTNESS I love and get with...

Sick of crappy sound might sell my dual recto

VOODOO AMP MOD!!! I sent my Single Rectifier and had the STANDARD MOD done and it really tightened up my low end got rid of the flubbiness and warmed up my distortion with a smoother more sustaind tone. Great rythmn tone and a killer lead tone. Trace and the boys really delivered. :D

Congrats on the TRIAXIS. I own the TRIAXIS/2:90 and let me tell you. If you want to experience what the TRIAXIS is capible of get the POWER AMP Mesa intended the TRIAXIS to be paired with the 2:90!!! Once you experience the DEEP, MODERN and Half DRIVE MODES and all the combinations of those...

    rocktron chameleon and mesa 20 / 20

I am sure it will sound great. The 20/20 is a sweet power amp. How could it not sound great? I have a Chameleon 2000 powered by a ADA Microtube 100 and it sounds really good. I can only imagine the 20/20 sounding even better than my Microtube 100. Just my 2 cents.

    SONGS AND TESTS

Never mind bro , just a language misunderstanding. What I should have asked was the Gmajor in the mix?I see it was now. I made it sound like EFFECTS LOOP. Sorry. Anyway , sounds great bro. Take care , Michael :D

    SONGS AND TESTS

So what do you mean by "Gmajor equalizer scooping some bass mid frequencies around 400H." Does this mean if you had no Gmajor in the loop that the bass mids would not sound as scooped? From your quote it sounded like the EQ in the Gmajor was effecting the bass mid frequencies. Thanks bro , Michael
