Mine took longer, it spent about seven weeks at Mesa, then add whatevershipping time to each end of that. Mike B. was busy during that stretch.

Wish I had the tech skills to even render an opinion. Perhaps a phone call to Mesa is in order. If there's a likely cause with a simple fix, they might point you in the right direction.

Thanks for posting this. They'll be shipping mine back shortly, and I'm going to call and make sure that doesn't happen to me. I shipped mine double boxed with insulating material in each layer, and I expect a similar level of protection on the way back. I'd have been pissed too if I saw that...

interesting set of opinions... Thanks guys. consensus seems like it would probably be more detrimental than I thought. I'm a player rather than a collector, and not sure I'd ever be selling this amp, plus I paid a very reasonable price, so either way I don't think I'd be in a position to lose...
