    I think the trade off is using a foot controller or not. Thats how my TOV works. I never used a foot controller on my pre 500...... :twisted:

    I find the V to be better than the IV in almost every way.

    i think his original post laid it out. Some of it tone, some of it function and the best overall package is the V. I agree with his assessment on easily dialing in tones, and channel 2 being something special. That alone would make this amp one for the books!

    I have my roadster set to modern for channels 3 and 4. The only difference is for channel 4 I have reverb and some delay. The channel switching is all done through a RG-16 which I am loving. What I notice is that my channel 3 distortion is not a vibrant as channel 4. TIs also not as loud...

    the manual states it was modeled after the best IIC+ they had access too (former employee who owned several). I'm not bagging on you, but if your in love with your IIC+ for thenumber of past years with it, i doubt anything would impress you. You had years to dial it in and made a sell decision...
