The Loop shouldn't have any effect on the pedal's function. What's powering your pedals? Battery or pedal board? Maybe there's a short in your pedal and it might be stopping the loop from functioning. Try taking the pedal out of the chain and see if the loop works.

Possibly the FX Loop tube is bad.

Not sure what's going on with my Mark. While playing yesterday my volume dropped and got dull. Usually a tube problem, but when I kicked in my effects loop, the volume jumped back up. It went back to normal after a while but did it again. I played with the loop cables and it seemed to work fine...

The Fillmore clean isn't gonna be anywhere near a Fender. Also, the clean channel doesn't have a lot of headroom if you want pristine cleans. I run it through a TC Electronics Spark for a clean boost. Makes a world of difference. I just sold a Fender Deluxe Reverb, and I don't miss it.

This is weird. I've owned quite a few different Mesa amps over the years. I find my MKV 35 to be the best one I've had so far. I use the clean channel with pedals, and the MKIV channel on it's own. Play with the tone controls and the EQ.

Was using MXR Carbon Copy, but now using Hardwire Delay/Looper. Lots of different settings available.

Got mine about a month ago and been playin it thru a 4x12 RK cab. I have a 2x12 Vert on order. My Les Pauls rock thru this baby, Strats....not as good.
