suhr pretty much owns prs. my advice would be not to get a suhr sig model. with all the options suhr gives you it is possible to get the exact guitar you want and for a prs price in some cases.

also ive seen devin townsend and cynic live and they both had great tone with the axe fx. they are on the axe boards too which really helps when trying to emulate their tones :D

it does suck that while my amp/fx gas is gone, the guitar gas has taken up that space. i just got an axis ss and im re-falling in love with that model again. i just ditched the atomic fr for the qsc k12 and its pretty impressive

i thought i saw you on the fractal boards. its like you keep following me, or maybe vice versa. sold the mark iv long ago and dont have regrets yet. still mainly use the mark and recto sims. its just really nice to be able to put any drive in front or any sort of effect, anywhere, anytime.

no not close at all. ive got a carvin and a jp6 and i dont like basswood and i love maple/mahogany (which is what the carvin is) but the carvin has nothing as far as quality or playability when compared to ebmm

hey im thinking on picking one of these guys up but was just wondering what you guys thought about them. the particular guitar im looking at is a pre fender guitar (1999).

wow didnt know you could get hsh from a pro series suhr. tight. maybe ill have to get one (custom moderns are just too expensive)

+1 on the skyline color. guess id just settle for any jp or any skyline at this point

some of these people are horrible imo. to each his own...matt bellamy, akerfeldt, and daryl palumbo for contemporary guitar oriented music i suppose

the chambered jazz is cool but it doesnt seem different enough for me to be excited about. my plain old jp6 gets the job done for now. also not a fan of the color

funny you mention that. my schecter c1 classic was replaced by a mint 93 s470. ibanez was sweet back then before the prestige line and all that. wizard 1 neck, edge lopro bridge, and aanj. im probably gonna sell it however as i just bought a prs ce24 and cant justify having this many guitars...

for the price i really dont think schecter can be beat on the new market.

i did have a fear that was realized in that the jp neck will spoil other guitars. the prs is almost telepathic though so it can get the job done hopefully
