Yeah this I stopped using SEDs a few years ago when the price went thru the roof. Bummer cause they were great sounding tubes - especially in the rectos. I really love the Tungs Sol 6L6/EL34 combo in my Mark III

The MTS amps are definitely cool. The problem IMO is the modules are not quite there in stock form. I had one for a while. Heavy SOB. Had a couple jadedfaith mods as well as my own. Had my RM100 for a couple years. Zero issues.

I run a mallard in V1. Makes my purple stripe scream. LPS in the PI and Chinese in the rest. Ive owned 2 Mark IIIs in my days and both were extremely picky about preamp tubes. This cocktail worked best in both of them for my ears.
