If it has reverb check out the reverb hum fix post. It's usually an annoying lower level hum on the clean side then is really obnoxious when switch to the lead side. This fix cleans up this noise on the reverb based amps...

The drive side of the reverb circuit and the recovery side are two separate circuits not one.. Tube amps can be designed to be quiet, it's just we are accustomed to and made to think it is normal for them to have noise. And yes to some it doesn't matter but to some it does. For the price paid...
