I had this issue with the treble control when in LD1 Red mode. Then it progressed to all channels: I had no treble control anymore. I sent my Triaxis to Mesa for repairs, and when I got it back it was working properly. The invoice says that they replaced 8 capacitors and the ribbon cables.

Mesa hasn't had them available for a long time, and based on what they told me when I spoke with them recently, they aren't planning to get any more. I think that's a disaster and spells doom for a lot of Triaxis out there whose buttons barely work or are close to falling off. How will people...

Hi. If sending a signal through only one side of a 2 channel power amp, will the tubes in the side that's not used experience any wear from the amp being turned on, and the other channel played through?

I've got it worked out. I replaced all the 12ax7 and 6550 tubes together, and got one side of the amp playing normal. Maybe I just didn't test both sides after swapping one of the tube types before. I assume there was a bad 6550 on one side, and a bad 6L6 on the other - now there's just the bad...
