Will a TOV fit in a standard DR head shell?

Gonna answer my own question here and say no it won’t. The TOV looks to be a little wider.

Will a TOV fit in a standard DR head shell?

Just curious if a Tremoverb (head version) can be put into a standard Dual Rec head shell with the tread plate?

Video of Roadster - No Talking - NOT METAL

Ha. Nice video and great playing. I remember back in the day I bought a Peavey Vypyr 60 because you made the thing sound so good on your channel (it was an excellent amp). And I just picked up a Multiwatt Dual Rec about a week ago. Another stellar amp.

    NAD: Multi-Watt Dual Rectifier

Hola bandit. I haven’t been around here in a long time. Not since I’ve had and sold the TC-100. Such a great amp but I moved it along to a new home. I recently picked up a MWDR and it is an amazing amp. I had a Tremoverb combo years ago and remember thinking it was amazing but way...

    TC-100 excessive fan noise?

Hi guys. I just sold my beloved TC-100 off to a new home. The new owner said the amp seems great except it seems to have abnormal amounts of fan noise. I didn’t notice that when I had it, but I did notice the fan was audible at very low volumes. Has anyone had any fan noise issues? Any...

    Mesa TC-100 FX loop question

Hi. I tried running some preamp pedals (AMT) into the FX return but the output seems much quieter than I think it should. Any ideas?

    TC25, 3 channel, verb, 25/10 watt - Any chance?

Better yet, get a TC-100 and put 6V6s in it that’ll get you 50, 25, 10, 3.5, and 1.5 watt modes lol I just did this with my TC-100 but haven’t fired it up yet :)

    TC25, 3 channel, verb, 25/10 watt - Any chance?

Kinda doubt it since you can easily dial the 100 back to 25 or even 10 watts. You can hope, but maybe you should just get a 100 :)

TC-100 with Mesa 5BGEQ, Oh yeah!

Good stuff man. I sold my TC-50 months ago, but have a 100 on the way. I’m excited to try the 100 with the 6V6s. Those were my favorites in the 50 but didn’t like the lowered headroom. I’m probably going to run it in parallel or stereo with one of my other amps (Invective, OG 5150, Mark IV...

TC-50 (EL34) - LO channel shrill high end at low/med gain

Yeah I remember I had to turn the highs down a lot on the TC head.

    The Mark IV thread....!!

What speaker is in yours? I’m looking at a used one that has Black Shadows. I’m hearing those aren’t very good at all.

    The Mark IV thread....!!

Thanks for the reply. I actually just called MB a couple hours ago and was coming back to say they said basically whAt you said—it’s a courtesy outlet and the cable is hardwired. FWIW, This one is a Mark IVb and it’s serial is 008XXX.

    The Mark IV thread....!!

Considering buying a Mark IV wide body combo. I noticed the power receptacle on the back looks like what you’d see in a wall outlet instead of the IEC plug you normally see on stuff with a removable power cable. Is that normal for some Mark IV’s?

    Triple Crown Rig Idea

How about a simple stereo rig with the TC-100 and TC-50 both on vertical 2x12s? Put different tubes in them. You could do a wet/dry/wet rig with 3 amps but the benefit of wet/dry stuff is that it keeps your dry signal intact. With high quality effects (which I know you use) you really won’t have...

Slaved the TC-50 preamp into JP-2C return

I use the Abybaby by The GigRig. Has isolation and phase control. It is fantastic but does need power. Radial also makes popular ABY switchers. For my “simple” stereo rig I went guitar > Invective input > Invective FX send > stereo pedal input (BigSky), then: - BigSky Left Output > Invective...
