Just seen a video that says all acoustic simulators sound crap, so turn off the speaker simulators! I'm scratching my head, wouldn't that be the same as turning off the amp simulators?
That was the last thing I was messing around with last night and I couldn't figure anything out. No matter what I did the controls on the Rectoverb still did nothing. I think once you plug something into the Send/Return on my amp it cuts the preamp out (nothing to do with the GT)...
EDIT...Well...
There are so many things!
I just logged back on to add what I find works best for patch 04-4 (with its Accoustic Guitar Simulator) is a Solid State amp
Something else which is a bit funny, once I get the weird noises it seems to linger on. What I mean is even though I change to correct settings its still kind-of there. But come back then next day and go straight to the right settings it is fine
Yes sure
I got a loud howling noise when connected into the Send/Return loop when using patch 04-4 or any patch with AC GUITAR SIM+TRANSPARENT AMP - anything else is okay
Connected any other way including 4 cable method I get an excessive string buzz sound on the high strings
If I change the...
Thanks for that, although I tried the 4 cable method and I'm sure I still got some unwanted noise, but I will try it again
It seems to me that the GT should not be connected the way I have done but they don't tell you that. There are numerous videos showing how to do things and this one I think...
Hi, thanks for your reply
No I have the guitar going straight to the amplifier Input
Basically connecting the GT the way you would connect an overdrive or delay into effects loop, using the Input and L/Mono channels. If you delete blue and green and take the red line to Send on amp, guitar to...
I bought a Boss GT-1000 recently and somebody said I should plug my guitar straight into the amp and put the GT through the effects loop (so I can still get the Boogie sound)
But I've seen a few diagrams on different ways to connect and they all show the guitar going into the GT
It works fine...
I could say "take your pick" but fact is I didn't like them. I still have the 59 Reissue though. I wish I didn't sell the 1977 Ebony Custom, but just to find out if it had a transitional or short neck joint, and to get more for it. I sold it for $800 in 1987. Its serial number was 25000 and last...
