So, I haven't run any effects in the loop as of yet. However, I am running the MV about as low as it can be and still sound decent. I live in an apartment that necessitates that practice. I imagine that is the issue. I suppose I should start shopping for an attenuator. Thanks for the help!
Gentlemen,
It has literally been years since I've been on TBB and since I've owned a Mesa amp. Glad to be back. I just acquired a 2009 Electra Dyne 1x12 Widebody. It is by far my favorite amp to date. I have one issue with regards to which I require your advice and wisdom. When I engage the...
I don't know if anyone already said this, but just because two guitars each have the same make and model, that doesn't make them the same guitar. Each one is unique. I play a PRS Custom 22 and its my favorite guitar ever. I've also had the amazing opportunity to play a Nik Huber Orca 10th...
I saw this and thought that it was a great deal! Has anyone played it?

Great Comparison! I love my roadster but I also want one of the old 2ch series 1 dual recs! Apparently even the new multiwatt dual recs aren't a bad choice either. Though I still want one of the older ones...
So, got the cable today and this is what I thought.......
It was a bit thicker than my stock cable. Probably an 1/8" to 3/16" thicker. All the specs on the MM cable (as far as max watts, etc) were exactly the same as the stock cable. It also made my amp hum. A lot more than usual. So this leads...
This is hilarious to me because my first amp was a Line 6 Spider II 150 2x12! Great first amp but, it gave way to the Roadster! Good practice/backup though....
The Roadster has a series loop while the non-multi watt rectos have parallel loops. I chose the Roadster for many reasons but, the FX loop was a big reason! I would recommend the Roadster to anyone! It's got a big, rich, & dynamic sound that can go from Cold Play to Napalm Death and everywhere...
Maybe but, I have read material and seen videos on clean power supplies versus not so clean power and you'd be surprised what it could do to your signal. Example: No ground= annoying, unrelenting hum! I understand this heavy duty cable doesn't clean up the power supply but, I can see how it...
So I just saw the Mercury Magnetics Heavy Duty Power Cord advertised. Supposedly the thicker cord contains a lot more copper and should add to one's tone. It was going to be $15.15 after shipping so, I bought one! I wouldn't be horrified if you guys told me it did nothing, but I am curious if...
