    NAD - Mark III

I think they only did the "plus" thing for that last revision of the Mk IIc. -Chris

At what point would you consider tubes to be mismatched?

When the power tubes are significantly mismatched, the amp will produce a hum. Kinda like being around a florescent light or a bad ground. Personally, with Boogies, when you can hear it, that's when I consider it to be a problem. -Chris

    Noobie help Mark III

I have a non EQ version of the Mk III as well, and I find it difficult to dial out that snappy/spanky sound the amp has. Especially when you dig into the strings with fender style medium or hard pick. At least with just the amps stock tone controls. I highly recommend picking up a graphic EQ for...

    NAD - Mark III

I have a MK III and love it too. :) It looks like you have a "Black Stripe" model, like mine. Its one of the earliest MK III's..... Take a look at the "MK II C+ Guide for dummies" which is stickied. It will give you a lot of information about what, is what, on your amp and what the various...

    Mark III - Footswitch Question

Does any one have a schematic (and maybe some photos of the insides) of the Mk III footswitch? I know a simple on/off footswitch will do the job, but I have an old Marshall DSL footswitch with two switches on it, that I would like to convert to use with my Mk III. I wanted to be able to put...

Mark III - Can anyone tell me more about this amp?

Hey, thank you for the input! I've been doing a little more googling and found some other interesting info. Some about the Mark III specifically, and some just about Mark amps etc. For example there is a code on the sides of the chassis with the letters. "DR 3", which means "Simul-Class/Reverb...

Mesa Mark IV Combo Cab Sizes...

Anyone know the reason behind having two different sized combo cabs? The wide and the narrow? I own two. Both Rev. B's. One is a wide and one is the narrow cab sized combo. I wonder if it had anything to do with the size of the ext cabs? Anyone know for sure? Thanks, -Chris

What value LED is used in FU-3 Footswitch?

Thank you gentlemen. :-) I wondered what the specific spec was for the stock LED's to just do a direct swap out. Like 3.5v 5mm, etc. :-) -Chris

ISP Decimator Pedal w/ Mark amps.

I know this thread is a little old, lol. But wanted to add, In regards to using the decimater with a Mk IV, that when the G-string (or a regular decimater) is used up front, you still get the preamp section hiss. So I use the G-String in the FX loop, as well as my time based effects, as...

What value LED is used in FU-3 Footswitch?

I would like to change a few of the LED's in my Mark IV and my FU-3 footswitch. Green for clean, Yellow for channel 2, Red for channel 3. And maybe a blue for the EQ or Loop buttons. May also, change the same LED's in the Mark IV itself. Does anyone know what the values are for the Mark IV &...
