Good point. I just picked up a Roland Micro Cube. Certainly not the tone of a tube amp but great for a little practise amp. It's rated at 2W and I'd say that it was loud for just bedroon jamming.

Sorry for reposting this. I have these aluminum tube protectors on my F-30 and want to change out the tubes. I remember reading somewhere about how to remove the protectors on the preamp tubes but can't find the thread. Can somebody help me out? Thanks.
