The DSL is a great amp but too middy for me an cleans suck… If I had some extra disposable income lying around I would buy the Marshall Vintage modern not the Jcm 2000 DSL/or tsl… to run in tandem with my Dyne… the older I get the more harsh el 34’s sound to me..the kt66’s sound great.. the VM...

I think the reverb should be switchable included in the mode footswitch (button for both blue as well as red/ and reverb and clean)4 total… Solo boost would be cool but not really needed as I already use a pedal for that. Unless it was a second high gain channel(but again not really needed but...

Do you mean safe for the amp or for your internal organs and ear drums…in which case I say yes as long as there are a few hundred feet and a few walls between you and the amp…. Bill

This amp comes with a time travel device built right in. four hours of jamming seems like 30 minutes. Very little tweaking involved though. Tonal bliss no matter how you go and it leaves little time for forum posting.. Cheers Bill

Yeah the vent on the top does wonders to remove heat from the cabinet. I know a few have said they are using fans to remove excess heat away but I believe they mean in the combos. My head has not gotten hot enough for me to worry about it. Not to say the tubes don’t get blazin’ but the head...

Yeah the combos run real hot. the head on the other hand is not to bad as beacuse everything is not upsidedown like on the combos. Bill

That’s the truth…….I can get everything I need with the guitar tone and volume knobs.. dont think I have ever played a cooler AMP.... 8) Cheers Bill

Through a 4x 12 is the only way to experience the dyne.. the combos are very nice and sound better than most amps out there but for the ultimate in tone experience plug into 4 V30’s and ride the lightning……….. :shock: :twisted: Cheers Bill
