    DC-10 Head fuse blowing

Depending on how much you play, the power tubes can fail within 6 months. They just don't make them like they used to.

    DC-10 Head fuse blowing

Have the power tubes been replaced? Any burned transistors on the board? Have the Screen Grid resistors been replaced? Normally, it will not blow fuses unless there are bad power tubes, or the power section has a fault. The fuse blows to protect the rest of the amplifier circuit.

DC-3 a little monster of TONE!

The do infact kick tons of A$$. I have 2 that I run through a Radial Headbone to a Recto Vertical 2x12 and I love them.

    DOB for my DC5?

Contact Mesa. They will be able to give you at least a year of manufacture.

    New Express Plus 5:50

Yes, it is quite possible and likely. I have a 2x12 Vertical Rectifier cab that sounded like *** brand new. After about 2 months worth of practice and shows, it started sounding really good. I find the louder I run it, the faster new speakers/cabs break in.

    NAD: DC-5b head

I think it's just because they were not built or used in the #s the Mark and Rectifiers were. I've been using DCs exclusively for about 5 years now. I strayed off to Rectifiers and a couple of Expresses for a few months, but, always back to the DCs. If the big metal acts were using DCs it...

Advice on DC3 or Studio 22+

No, standard EL84 https://www.eurotubes.com/store/pc/viewCategories.asp?idCategory=56 No, the bias is fixed on all Mesa's. The thread I linked earlier has instructions for changing out the bias resistor to lower the bias a bit. http://forum.grailtone.com/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=51785

Advice on DC3 or Studio 22+

Revision A has a little more grit on the clean channel. So look for a Rev. B. Also, there are some mods you will want to have done. Mainly the Bias mod. http://forum.grailtone.com/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=51785 And, replace the Power Tubes as soon as you get it. Contact EuroTubes and ask for the...

Advice on DC3 or Studio 22+

I would dispute that heavily. The DC Lead channel is more of a mix of a mark and a Rectifier. With a far more fluid and less fizzy tone than a Rectifier. The Studio 22+ and the DC basically have the same pre-amp for the most part. The DC is an evolution of the Studio series to be more of a...

Advice on DC3 or Studio 22+

Personally, I think you get more for your money with a DC3.

Fellas, I need some help with a trade for a DC-10

A DC10 Combo is rare, and usually goes for around 7-800. If you are not going to miss anything with the AR15 I would say go for it. The DCs are a great amp. I gig 2 DC30s and love them.

    DC-2 three channel options

Gibson Les Paul Traditionals and a Fender Telecaster Deluxe HH. All of the guitars have a Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge with a 59 in the neck. Gain 7, Treble 7, Mid 6, Bass 7, Presence 5, Reverb 5, Master 8. The Output I generally run between 1.5 and 3 depending on the size of the room for...
