mark IV rackmount head with dual FX loops

As far as my amp, only the loop is different? All else is the same? Let me know about your kits. The FU3 is a pretty big footswitch. thanks

mark IV rackmount head with dual FX loops

I just picked up a Mark IV rackmount head which has two effects - one called normal and one called switchable. This is different that what the manual shows. Is this an early or late version of the Mark IV? It doesn't appear anything else is different, just the FX loops. Thanks

Mesa Studio preamp too **** flabby

Yes, after reading up on it I now see that. You tube videos show bass at zero or very low, and that V setting on the GEQ. OK, fine, but why...i mean why, would they design a preamp that you would have to do these extreme settings? I can't think of any other amp or preamp where you have to...

Mesa Studio preamp too **** flabby

These preamps get a lot of love these days...and I don't get it. Yeah, it has a nice mesa tone from that era, but the bottom end is just too flabby IMO. I've started the bass at zero, the worked it up until 2 or 3 and after that forget it....Even if you add in a bit of bass on the graphic...

    Rectifier cabinet - logo placement

Not the most sexy topic, but have a chance to get a 2x12 horizontal rectocab, and the logo is the upper left corner, where I see most of these cabs having the logo in the middle. Can anyone tell me about the logos and if/when it changed? Anything to know about the logo placement? Thanks

    Tremoverb footpedal for FX loop

I've been reading the manual on my tremoverb head....and it's not entirely clear to me. If I set the FX loop for ext switching, when switching on are both red and orange active? If disengaging, you lose the loop active master, and then the individual masters per channel go back to...

    Tremoverb Fx loop recommendations

I've got a late 90's tremoverb head, great amp...having an issue with the FX loop. Running pedals I have to crank the send and levels, and it gets kinda phasey for some reason, but I guess maybe that's because they aren't line level? What's the best way to run the FX loop? Seems I should...

    Tremoverb channel cloning not working?

I've got late 90s tremoverb head...I set the channel cloning to "red to vintage" and it doesn't change anything. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? Any other settings to make this work, or do I have an issue? Thanks!
