does anyone know the manufacturer/model of the tweeters used in the Mesa Road Ready bass cabs? I am looking to replace a couple of them and would like to find the same model. Thanks for your help!

I bought a IIB...100/60, Rev, EQ, hardwood/wicker with a JBL K120 w/original footswitch and original owner's paperwork 16 months ago for $1250 shipped. Me thinks your teacher asketh too much. My $0.02.

if the problem is coming from a power tube socket pin, you probably would be able to reproduce the problem noise by wiggling the power tube(s). you may have a bad solder joint somewhere on the PCBs....if you're game you can try to locate it by running the amp (speaker connected) with the chassis...

the circuit boards look like stock IIB...only one relay for channel switching, no multiple vactrols like in a IIC, IIC+ or III

with no footswitch connected, the front panel switch is functional. if you don't notice a change in tone when switching the EQ in, there's something wrong with the EQ circuitry.

Looking at your list of amps in your sig, all you need is a 3-amp switcher. Hiwatt for cleans, Superbass for crunch and your IIB lead channel w/EQ for lead playing.....you'll need a roadie and a trailer, too 8) that's how i use it in my classic rock cover band....clean rhythm channel (no EQ)...
