I had a old Marshall 1x18" PA speaker cabinet that I modified for a 1x12" and put a Celestion V30 1x12" speaker in and I really like the sound of this cabinet. It have a little more low-end compared to a normal 1x12" cabinet. 2B

I think he is using more than one mic. Sometimes I use. SM57 and a R-121 or a MD421 together. With that line up I both cover the high and low frequencies. 2B
