Worth converting TriAxis from 110v to 220v? Or stick to step down transformer?

Ive had my trixaxis for years but in the back of my mind its always nagged me using a step down transformer.

So, is there any point spending the couple of hundred and swapping the transformer?
Will it change the sound quality at all? Is it ‘better’ for the unit?

If you can, swap for a 117V Triaxis Transformer. Take a picture of the configuration and share with this thread. You guys might be able to help each other out.
