Got a SOB 1X12 combo and it is a great little amp. However the ppl at Mesa said I could use a A/B pedal and have it be as if there were two channels but it won't work with the A/B/C pedal I have. Could that be because of the C connection even though I'm not using it? Anybody got any info on this?

Unless the SOB has separate inputs for channels (I'm unfamiliar with the SOB's, but I doubt it) then no, you can't use an A/B/C pedal to switch channels.

Yes it has seperate channel inputs, although it is a cascading input.
