So, I'm absolutely in love with my Mark V. I got it back in July and it just makes me super happy any time I fire it up.

My band One-Eyed Doll from Austin is releasing our new album on Friday. I'm actually the drummer in this band but all of the guitars were recorded with my Mark V. I went crazy and really explored the tones I could get from my Mark V on this album. Every song shows off a wide palette of tones recorded through lots of really high end gear. You can download the first single "Beautiful Freak" in full resolution, CD quality, wave file for free from our press release:

Let me know what you think!

Check it out and let me know what you think. I hope you like it! I really love the huge palette of sounds I was able to get from the Mark V!

I'm really digging it man! A good mixture and variety going on. Redneck Love Song is a pretty fun song! Great tone with the Mark V as well! What speakers did you use to record with the V?

Most of it was recorded with an Ampeg 4x12. I also used a Mesa Thiele 1x12 for a lot of the overdubs to get a different tone in there.

By the way, tonight's the first night of our U.S. tour. Wish us luck!

Check out our new video! The guitars were of course recorded with the Mark V...

Sorry for the double post. At the last second I realized I typed it's instead of its (I'm a grammar freak) and ended up saying the same thing twice. My bad!

I have to admit that had I judged the book by its cover, I wouldn't have even bothered listening, but I did listen, and I'm glad I did. That's a really cool sound, and the song is catchy. Really good job.
