Are there any programs out there that are good at kind of "automatically" programming drum beats & bass lines based on rhythms you play?

Something guitarist friendly for someone new at recording?

I'd like to start making my own jam tracks to practice soloing over..

Thanks for your help!!!

I recently tried the Boss DR880 ... it's got a pretty good drum machine built into it. You can also program chord progressions into it that the bass will follow ... including different styles. It's pricey at $495 but if you get it from Guitar Center you can try it and take it back within 30 days.

I found the manual a bit complex ... and traded it on a recording unit that I'm trying out. That's about all I can do to help.

if you have got the samples...

Fruity loops
Leaf drums

hope it helps.
bye.
