When I purchased my Mark V:35, it had a Mesa c90 speaker in it and from past experiences I didn't like the c90 very much. So I ordered a Mesa Fillmore speaker at the same time with the idea that I would switch them out. Problem is, after playing the v:35 for a while, I really liked the c90 and didn't want to change it out. So I set out to grab a cab to go with the combo. I always wanted a Thiele cab and found one locally in brand new condition. I tested the Thiele with the v:35 combo and didn't really care for the 2 c90s working together so in went the Fillmore. I find this to be an excellent sounding speaker, and the 2 work very well together!

But, because of the wicker from on my v:35, the two sounded great together, but didn't really look great together. So, off to Mesa's yahoo page to order some parts and another site to grab a sheet of wicker. I built a new front piece to mount the wicker, switch out the handle and now I think I have a very nice looking mini stack! I also bought the brown leather corners but I am afraid to cause too much damage removing the old ones so I will leave them off for now.

Enjoy the pics!

Very Nice

I have had to put corners on in the past. Not easy, but doable

I soaked them in water for a bit to make them a little more stretchy.

When they initially went on they did not look "great", but once they dried they shrunk back up and looked like mesa did it.

I would do it if I were you.

Also, order you a "Boogie" nameplate

How did you get the nails out of the corners? Thats what I worry about damaging. Why order a Boogie name plate? I tried to replicate the original grill that came on it.

OP, where exactly did you buy that matching wicker grill? My rig is almost identical to yours except I have the 1x12 widebody cab. I have the matching boogie logo but the wicker grill would make it complete, thanks

Nice job. I really like my Theile with the C90 and the mini recto cab with the V30 combo for my Mark V:25. I think mixing cabs is the way to go with these amps!

Very nice looking setup. I've wanted to mix a Thiele in with my Mini Recto cab but the Thiele is narrower so I can't go on the bottom, where I'd like it for bass purposes. Still might get one. Maybe drop a Warehouse 12L in it. 8)
