Congrats, I had a red stripe simulclass III about 10 years ago. It was a great gigging amp and I used it quite a bit. Had issues with caps a lot though, had to send it to Mesa 2 times. When you got the chance maybe check inside and see if you still have the stock filter caps inside, and if they are still stock then maybe consider getting the amp re-capped. Being dead silent is a good sign though that everything is working fine, but you just never know when one of those old caps will go on you.
