Yep, mine has has the top half closed off with a removable section of wood covered in black tolex. It looks like it came that way from the factory. Mine also has 4 x EVM-12L speakers, but it could also have 4 x C90's, 2 x C90's/2 x EVM's, 2 x MS12/2 x EVM's, as well as a few other combinations. Mesa offered these variations as options back when they made these cabs. Greats cabs btw!

Simple ;-) with Screws.
(about a dozen, usually course thread, 1-1/4" black drywall screws).

thanks , I want to get one ,but they are unobtanium in the uk....

It's a bit of wood... :wink:

The back on my cabinet just pushes on tight with no screws.
