Mark IV (rev a) v.s. Mark VII. (anyone own both?)

I previously owned a MK IV a but moved back to the US and it wasn't the right voltage so sold it. Loved it. I'm looking at trying to find another one but might consider the VII. Does anyone own both who could comment on the advisability of which way to go?
