Lonestar Special Glitch

I recently bought a second hand Lonestar Special (2 years old). Everything works perfectly besides when I change from the 30W to 15W or 5W they don't seem to work (simply fade out and nothing happens. I asked a "specialist" at my local instrument store that sells Mesa amps and he said that it was probably the tubes that needed changing, so I purchased all new set of tubes but after I switched the old ones out for the new ones nothing changed. So my question is: what could possibly be wrong with my amp?

If 30W works and 15W and 5W don't, then it's almost certainly going to be the rectifier tube. Change that and they should come back to life.

This is a fairly common problem on the Lonestar Specials - the "specialist" is not really....
