This may be a really stupid question, but where is the serial # generally located? I'm trying to find out when my amp was made, and I can't seem to be able to find it anywhere on the back of the amp.
I'm pretty sure it's a Mk II, but not sure which one.
The amp originally belonged to my father (he was a session guitarist in London in the 70's and early 80's), and I've had it now for about 15 years. Boogie had sent it to him around 1978-79.
Just to give you guys a little more info, it does have the graphic eq on it, 12" altec speaker, no reverb, and I had the effects loop upgraded by Mike B about 10 years ago. I can take pics and post them if anyone cares.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
thanks,
Shawn

The s/n is below the speaker jacks on the back panel. You might need good lighting to see it.

Hi, thanks for the help on this. I found the #, and from what I have been able to find, it's a Mark IIA.
Gonna contact Boogie to get it's actual b-day. Will post pics as soon as I can.
