What's up guys.

I know it's perfectly normal for Quads, or any Mesa for that matter, to have writing on and in them, however there seem to be quite a lot of dates and markings on mine....

There are three dates, with three sets of initials and a red stripe. I've seen one or two dates with initials on there before, together with the 'red stripe'. I'm guessing this is simply a sort of Quality Control thing that was done?

Or could anyone shed some light on why/what they wrote and what the different initials are?

There are three markings on the small reverb tank:

MB 3/9/92 [I'm guessing it's MB, from the looks of it]
Wa (sic) 3/23/92
HAM 3/30/92

Could anyone shed some light on those? I'm fairly certain the first one is Mike Bendinelli, yet the other two leave me clueless. And also, again, what function did these dates have?

I know I'm asking for trivial, petty stuff here, but I don't feel like calling transatlantic to bother Boogie with stuff like this, but at the same time I like knowing about the history of my amps and gear, so that's where you guys come in!

Thanks in advance!

((Apologies for the horrible pictures, but it's night and the high ISO settings, sleepy photographer and anti-tungsten settings make for baaaaad photo's ))
