Dual Rec Hum

Hey guys,

Two practices ago, I removed the outside pair of 6l6 tubes, and used the 4 ohm out for my 8 ohm 4 x 12. Everything was fine. I was supposed to pull one of the rec tubes per boogie but I forgot to. Last practice I did pull a Rec tube and halfway through practice I hear an audible hum in the amp. I run the amp on silicon diode mode..any thoughts? The tubes have maybe 15 hours on them...

Hey,

I believe you should remove the inside tubes and leave the outside ones,and also any rectifier tube.
