Cleaning an EQ on a Mkiii Coliseum

Hey boys and girls, I recently acquired a no stripe coli with the +/R2 mod. It's in almost new shape, although the sliders on the EQ seem very tight and hard to move as compared to my Mkiii red stripe and Quad Preamps. Any idea how to clean these to make them slide like new? I plan to try some contact cleaner but figured i'd ask if there was a better way

Mike B. told me not to use contact cleaner. It will wash the grease out of the sliders.

Use Deoxit D5 or other products in the Deoxit line. They're MADE for the job. Even Mike B. would approve of their usage.

Yep! I love my Classic 50 and Penta. You can also strap the amp to the roof racks and take it thru a car wash.

Mike just uses a heat gun on a low setting and works the slider. They more than likely just need to be exercised from what he was saying.
