BOSS MT2 (metalzone) with recto?

I went shopping for a metal pedal a few months ago and tested 6 out. I thought Boss's Metal Zone was one of the worst. Totally subjective judgement I know - just my humble opinion. The difference between it and the Electro-Harmonix Metal Muff with boost was night & night on every criteria IMHO. Running a MZ thru a Recto is like attaching an RV to a Ferrari and expectng to set the fastest lap times :roll:

But hey - who cares - I'm not doin it so have fun
