I have brought fenders, Marshalls, Rivera's and a Vox to Jeff. So far so good. The last time I spoke with him I believe he was talking with Mesa to get certified. I would go there before anywhere else in Atlanta. He is also very quick. Good Luck!

Congrats on the F-50 and cab. I have the same rig! I also have a Marshall JCM 2000 TSL 602 that I am getting a Mercury OT/Choke mod done this week. I think I am finally done with amps. I love the tone in both. :) RRR

Thanks, I have replaced the power tubes yesterday and the amp now rocks! I have on order new preamp's so that will get done when they arrive. I love that these are self biasing amps. What a money saver!

I just bought a F-50 head. There is some real fuzz sounds coming from the amp, especially when I play an E. Also, there seem to be what I would call phantom noises when it is on. It is quiet with the standby but not when the standby is off. I am not playing loud, maybe 1-2 range. Could this be...

I have a JCM 2000 TSL602 with a matching cab. I really like it with the cab. If it was just the combo I would have to pass or at least change out the speakers. I don't need the money so it may be worth it to keep. I will be keeping my eyes open for a Mesa 2x12 cab though!

So I bought my first Mesa Boogie (F-50 head) yesterday. All I can say is WOW! I may sell my Marshall and just get a Mesa cabinet. They are really 2 different beasts, just curious to see what others would do?
