When I had mine, I had the mini slant cab, but put an EM12 Legend in it. My 2/12 also had the EM12's in it too. They were better for my use than the 30's or shadow 90's. More transparent. I still gig with the EM12's in all my cabs.

Yep I have the Shadow C90 in there. One thing for sure, with the MKV, you can sure go down a rabbit hole, I sure did. I have a cool tone after several years and just play into the amp.

20 years of MKIV's and the last 10 years with the MKV. Never had an issue with the popping, I do however cycle thru each channel after I power up. I don't know, but heard cycling thru each switch on the pedal controller, dissipates static electricity. Whether of not that is true, I don't know...

I use a closed back 2/12 deep cab with 1 shadow and one EM Texas Heat. That did it for me. Tight with a huge thump. Perfect for the stage, but that's just me. Good luck.

In my rack mount IV, 20 years never used the fan cause the shorty rack kit didn't have room for it. Never thought about it. In my V I have the fan on.

Line level thru the loop. Designed that way. Otherwise you'll get mixed results.

I took the casters off my horizontal 2/12. Much more stable.

Agreed, he's the certified tech in my area referred my mesa, actually 2 hours away. Rich at mesa made it good.

Although I've been playing out of Mesa amps for around 30 years. I really believe they pack way too much stuff in those. Anyone who has ever had one broke on them, know what I mean.

Since I had the MKV, I wish I kept the IV. I know if I get the new one, I'll have had I wished kept the V...... (Unless it has the Line6, Insane red mode), then it's a keeper!

I had several issues with my MKV, ended up sending it to Mesa. They had replaced a few diodes, relays, but one thisg I noticed is that they replaced one of the jacks in the loop. I've heard from some others that shooting it with some contact cleaner did the trick. There is so much stuff packed...
