Hello, sorry I did a search and could not find much.
maybe someone could tell what size dovetail router bit is used?
any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks & kind regards.
so for those that wanted to know, it's 51 kg. got it delivered and weighed on the scales at work.
it's got two EVM15L's so I don't know if that makes it 400 watt or 800 watt. either way it sounds great with my d180 non graphic eq running through it.
I've read its about 60kg (132 pounds) but I don't know for sure
i'm trying to organise freight for one as the seller does not really want to do so.
i'd be greatfull for any help
Thanks.
Hi,
i would like to experiment with some power tube rolling (mainly nos) in my mark III simulclass black dot.
i would like to know what ma rating i should be looking for? particularly for el34's in the class A sockets.
i generally want a fair amount of clean headroom (distort later).
if anyone...
hey babow,
does your freind have a suggestion on a alternative speaker to vintage 30's?
i like v30's but tend to agree with some of the things people complain about them.
i have a question for mesadude
does the IIc+ mode sound like your IIc with the treble pulled @ around 7 & master 1 pulled?
thanks. hope your enjoying your new amp :)
this is a little dissapointing, so extreme is a recto voicing rather than a mark series voicing?
oh well i hope IIc+ and/or iv is as good if not better than my mark III.
do you solder them on? or some other way?
from photo's i've seen they look different to celestion's (the points where you connect the wires)
i would like to know so i can arrange to have a tech wire the ev up because i havent soldered since the 7th grade
i'm intalling the ev in my mark...
i'm looking to replace the vintage 50 in my 80's 2 x 12 with a evm 12L
will i run into any problems? like will the screw hole's line up?
i did a search and read that at least 1 inch screws should be used.
thanks.
well i replaced all the tubes today and no problems at all! fingers crossed that it was just a bad power tube.
sounded really good too!
i really appreciate everyones advice
thanks!
i replaced the fuse today, turned the power on, warmed it up then turned on standby and started playing and within 10 seconds the amp stopped again.
i'm waiting on some new tubes so i think i will try again when they arrive.
i turned the standby on and there was a loud crackling sound like when you push the input jack into a guitar when the amp is turned on and then the amp stopped, i tried to switch it back on and there was no power.
would it just be a blown fuse?
i was planning on replacing all the tubes as i...
