    JP-2C Channel 1 Volume Fluctuation

Just stumbled upon this post. I'm seeing volume swells in the clean channel on my JP-2C. I'm wondering if I might have a tube issue as well. Never had the problem with either of my dirty channels, just the clean. It's fairly pronounced too, goes from manageable volume to pretty loud.

    Cabinet Pairing with JP-2C

I run mine through a Marshall 1936V 2x12 and an EVH 2x12 at the same time, I love it. A lot to carry for sure, but it's worth it.

    JP-2C loop issue?

This definitely was an issue for me and only showed up when using my delay going from dirty to clean. On my amp, it was a very loud and pronounced volume difference. I play my JP2C at many different volume levels, so the mod is important. Boogie, as always, handled the matter like only they do...

Mesa Boogie 5 Band Graphic EQ

I picked one up to use with my Rectoverb 25 head, it sounds awesome. I don't usually go with the V-curve so much, after all, mids are your friend! I like what it adds to the clean channel, makes it a little closer to my Mark V's. Little pricey and should come with a 9V supply for that cost, but...

Mesa Mark V in action for you all :)

    Great tones and great playing!

    ~~Mark V vs. Axe Fx Ultra~~

I currently own the Mark V and Axe FX Ultra. I went away from the Mark V for a few months and went Axe FX only. I love the sounds it produces and the effects are as good as ANY on the market today. It produces many sounds that the Mark V cannot, and that is why I keep it. Having said all that, I...

    Pickups with the Mark V

+1 on the Suhr pickups. I love their pickups, both humbuckers and the single coils. Great harmonics and lots of punch. Not a big fan of actives, but that's strictly my personal opinion.

Back to reality, and happy about it!!

Well, the experiment is over for me. After selling off my Mark V to go to an all Axe FX rig, I'm back in the Mark V fold! Not that I don't enjoy my Axe FX, I just missed the Mark V that much! Looks like the Axe FX will become my effects processor and "B" rig. I was dialing in some seriously...

Orange PPC412 Cab a good idea?

I've played my Mark V through an Orange 4x12 and it was awesome! However, I'll take my Port City 2x12 over just about any 4x12. They sound just as big and fat, but weigh FAR less. Just my 2 cents!

    TC Tone Print Pedals

I have the Flashback Delay and Corona Chorus, both are fantastic pedals. The 2290 mode on the flashback is amazing! The looper is not so great, but I really don't care about that.

Ok so...I bought a new Mark V Head.

You shouldn't be worried at all, you should be thrilled!

New Pedal Board - W/ Mark V Combo

Looks great. I have a smaller version of the same board, they are excellent! Just some info for you guys, the new TC Flashback delay is excellent too. I have both it and the Nova. Love 2290 mode on the Flashback, sounds crazy good!

Attenuator for Mark V - bedroom player

Agree with others....no attenuator needed with the Mk V.

Using an external EQ with a Mark V - is it necessary?

I used to run an MXR 10 band in my FX loop. I stopped because I thought it compressed the amp way too much and I really started to dig the amp without it. I sold the EQ and never looked back!

    Finally got a Mark V

Agree with this sentiment. Mark 1 is AWESOME with my Port City 2x12. Just dial back the bass and watch out! I don't even use Ch. 3 anymore, the leads are so fluid in Mark 1 mode!

Had my V for a year and a half and never played Mark I mode

I'm the opposite, I've used nothing BUT Mark 1 for the last year and a half! Love it, has just as much gain as the other modes with all that big bottom end.

    More Mesa Boogie at NAMM

Great sounding amp, bet it's even better without all the youtube compression. Mesa does it again!

Guess my V will need to go to the shop again.

Sorry to hear about this. Please keep us informed as to what the problem is.
