    On/Standby Switch: Changes

Why did mesa turn this into one switch? I've been curious about this for a while now. Personally, it looks odd and puts me off a little bit, especially having just ordered my Roadster. I'm so used to having two switches, it's a new world to me. What are your guys' thoughts on this? also...

    Power Soak with a Roadster

I've heard that using powersoaks, THD hotplates in particular, can ruin the life of your amp. Is there any truth to this? I deifintely won't be gigging with my roadster anytime soon, and will want to be able to get a full sound and pull all the tone out of it as possible and I know a hotplate...

    Roadster heads, any comments?

I do like the gain and the sound that dual rectifiers have. however, i think that alot of people who play them, play them poorly or just play a bad genre of music. Bad in my eyes being not my taste (ie-nu-metal, metalcore, etc). Bands like Between the Buried and Me, A Whilhelm Scream, etc all...

    Roadster heads, any comments?

Thanks alot for the advice, Laskyman. Really helpful. I'm maybe halfway, MAYBE 3/4 of the way to having the cash for the Roadster. I have about $1,400. So, I'm saving and saving every little penny I can find.

    Roadster heads, any comments?

thanks for the help guys. i heard that their clean channel is modeled after the Lonestar, but then I read on Mesa's website that it's modeled after the Mark 1 clean channel? either way, if it's great it's great.

    Roadster heads, any comments?

I'm glad to hear that. I checked out a clip on youtube and it sounded very muffled and very dirty. Not clean at all. It was very bassy and what not. I always come back to my opinion about mesa's being a scooped mid's amp is that you can always fix that with an EQ pedal, am i wrong about that?

    Roadster heads, any comments?

Especially you guys that own the roadster heads, what's your impression(s)? I'm away at school right now and can't really get to a store to play alot of amps so I've had to resort to the internet and reviews from other users. What can their clean channels do? Are they similar to the Dual...

    Stiletto Users: Help?

I definitely like what I have heard from everyone that's posted in here who owns the Stiletto and/or the Mark IV. I was right, you guys are helpful and really informative. I'm definitely now leaning towards the Stiletto more heavily after reading the posts in the thread. I play instrumental...

    Stiletto Users: Help?

i definitely want that mid-range tone, as well. and if ever wanted to add some boost i suppose an overdrive pedal of some sort would do the trick. anyone have any two cents on the "marshall tone" reputation that they have?

    Stiletto Users: Help?

Hey everybody! This is my first post and I'm in the market for a Mesa/Boogie and I'm looking for input. From what I've read and found on this forum you guys are really knowledgeable and helpful!
