It's step 3 that's bothering me. I can get a fader from Mesa and I can pull the chassis but for some reason I've never gotten over the hurdle (fear) of discharging the filter caps.

That's what you call camera diarrhea --- scheeessh...

The mid EQ slider tip broke on my Mark IIA head. Has anyone experienced this and how did you fix it? I haven't pulled the chassis to see how difficult it would be to replace. Is this a DIY job and where do you find a matching slider? Thanks...

Looks great -- I have the same problem with my Mark IIa head in that the reverb tank sits on the cab handle and rocks back and forth. Wish it was inside the head. (Nobody flame me telling me to put on taller feet -- I'm trying to justify a new head cab here) Please PM me the builder's contact...

+1 to revive an old thread -- I have a Mark IIA head and I'm no schematic expert. Does someone have a short description for V2 & V3? Is half of V4 for Lead like the Mark IIC? I've looked at Mesa's site and for some reason, the Mark IIA is not on there. The Mark IIB user manual doesn't...
