when i turn up the volume on the clean channel of my f-50 i get a rattle or a tinging sound when i hit low notes. is that normal. :?

I Heard on the petrucci forum that the f-50 is going to be dicontinued.
Does anyone here have the scoop on this. and what are they are going to replace it with.
