I don't think Mike B. is doing mods and upgrades at the moment. The last DRG Mike upgraded for me cost $700 if I remember correctly. Mike's upgraded 6 IIc's for me. They all become so much better after the upgrade.

Noice! Cream cabs are my favorite.

I have Sylvania 415's, 416's and Mesa 7025 Chinese 12ax7's in my 3+ Coli. It doesn't get any better than that. Except maybe when I use the Coli to drive one 4x12 and slave it into my Strategy 400 to drive two more 4x12's. The Strategy is also loaded with 415's. 12 of them!

Yep. It's a monster amp. The only amp that tops it is my c+ Simul Coli.

I had Mike B do the + and R/2 mods to my Blue Stripe Coli. The + mod will smooth the amp out and make the Presence knob more usable.

I'll have to check the the current draw of each in the amps. If I'm using all 415's I'll put a pair in the center sockets that draw around 20 - 22ma's on my Maxi Matcher. I'll put quad in the other sockets that draw around 30 - 32ma's.

My c+ and 3+ Coli's are both Simul so I use 415's and 416's in them. If I use all 415's I put 415's in the center sockets that draw less current.

Nice amp! I've got a couple 3+ SRG's. There both awesome amps. One was a Black Stripe and the other was a Blue. I sent them both to Mesa for service and the 3+/R2 mods. I asked Mike B. to install the R2 knob on the underside of the chassis since there's room on a 60 watt. I also had Mike install...

Looking to buy a Mark IIc or IIc+ in the Chicago area.

I use a 50/50 loaded with 415's with my Studio Pre. It's sounds great through 2 open back 1x12 cabs loaded with EV's.
