I'd say that's the added clarity. It's like taking a blanket off the speaker. That is one of the hallmarks of a C+ vs. other Marks.

In years past it was in the $300-400 range all in. The last couple I've had serviced were both in the $450 range. Still 100% worth it for a keeper!

So I sent my DRG red stripe in today for service & the III++ mod. Going to do a before / after tone vid. :) I've come to realize that the power section is possibly more important, to me, on a vintage Mark amp.
