4 Ohms

Hey guys. I've have a triple rec running through a 4x12 road king cab. I like to run mono and have been using the mono input. That input happens to be 4 ohms. Is it safe to run the rec at 4 ohms?

Howdy.

If the impedances match it’s safe. Eg. 4ohm to 4ohm, 8ohm to 8ohm etc.. there are some safe mismatch configurations explained in the manual if you’re interested

I plugged it in to the 4 ohm input. I just thought that it might be tougher on the transformer running at that low of an impedance.
