    NAD!

Yea give it up for the WB 1x12 with the C90. :) Already had a number of cabs when I picked up mine. The initial goal was to use it as test cab but dang it's become the main gigging cab.

New Stiletto Ace 1x12 sound issue

JPT has the right suggestions. However, this is a crazy longshot thought, but when Channel 1 is selected, do any of the Channel 2 controls effect the sound at all? They obvious shouldn't, if they do they somethings probably going on with the relay matrix.

    My Stiletto Ace mods

Correction is it Fat Clean, Fluid Drive, my bad. Yea that makes sense. Now if I have this correct, the relay schematics nomenclature does burn my limited brain cells, then RY-L3 is on with CH 2 FD and Ch 1 Crunch. I don't want to lose too much top end on the FD so probably best to play with...

    Widebody MC-90 Cab

Well it is when roadies haul them around :D problem is all my buddies would fail to show up if they knew I was bringing one LOL

    My Stiletto Ace mods

Ok, so I do have an objective in mind now :) maybe asking too much but will throw it out there. Its my 1st real dive down into the tube circuits and what the associated components values effect. Ch 1, thicken up Crunch voicing and trim bass response on Tite Clean. Currently I find I have to...

    Widebody MC-90 Cab

Not sure what V:90s users think of their favorite cab choices... but for a 1x12 this Widebody with an MC-90 is really growing on me. My default #1 1s a custom vert 2x12 EVM + v30, but hauling it around gives me pause. However, been gigging this one for a few months now and not only is it...

    Voicing Control Mod

Yea this is essentially true, indeed more often then not one would have settings tailored for the voicing, for sure the V falls into that bin. For example Edge vs Crunch, way different settings. However FWIW in the case of the Stiletto I actually have a good compromise setting that works live...

Should I trade my mark 5:35 combo???

FWIW I've kinda / sort of have both, LSS and a V:90. Dom has it covered, the LSS has pretty much the same preamp as the LSC. It's a much smoother, bassy voicing with not a huge amount of gain. Yea the 6L6 power section will make a difference, it will have a more denser, stiff (not in a bad way)...

    Voicing Control Mod

hmmm, it seemed ok with the benchtest didn't notice anything unexpected but TBH more rigorous testing is in order, once the smoke clears

    Mark V tone issue

Curious have you tried playing it with the "Hard Bypass" switch on? That eliminates the FX loop and the master output circuit. With that it's just the chans straight out to the power section. Maybe start with that and the GEQ off and see if there's any change.

    Voicing Control Mod

It's never too late!!! At one point was thinking of building a tube amp kit to learn on, but I picked up the Stiletto for far cheaper then one of the good Plexi kits, so I've used this amp to experiment with. But I've fallen in love with this beast. I've inflicted damage on it recently...

    Voicing Control Mod

Well I'm guessing a few folks may have thought, now wouldn't it be cool to have chan voicings foot switchable? On some dual channel Mesas like the Stiletto I find the desire to switch often between say Tite Clean and Crunch on Ch 1 and Tite Gain and Fluid Drive on Ch 2. Especially live this...
